NSW Govt EV charging grants now open for regional locations

Electric vehicle ownership is growing throughout Australia, and EV drivers are planning their trips around EV charging locations. Many businesses in regional NSW are already installing EV chargers and attracting new visitors.

NSW Government’s destination charging grant is covering up to 75% of the cost to purchase and install EV chargers at eligible businesses in regional NSW.

With $10 million in funding currently available, this is a great opportunity to attract new customers, increase dwell time and improve visitor experience.

NSW Government has already supported over 150 businesses, who have added charging infrastructure to their locations. Tourism business such as accommodation, caravan parks, attractions, food and drink and entertainment venues are all eligible under the current funding round.
